Berger Webb Hone & Rogin’s employment practice focuses primarily on the representation of employees. Though a significant portion of these clients are senior-level executives in the financial services sector, we also represent employees in a variety of other industries, including fashion, entertainment, pharmaceuticals and real estate. Our firm receives a substantial and steady flow of client referrals from large law firms with actual or potential conflicts of interest.
We represent such individuals in employment-related lawsuits and arbitrations related to unpaid compensation, severance issues, the enforcement of restrictive covenants (such as non-competition provisions) and discrimination.
The attorneys in this group also assist employees outside of the litigation context. Our work in this area often involves the review, analysis and negotiation of employment agreements and related documents, such as stock option and deferred compensation awards and plans, carried interest plans, shareholder agreements and limited liability company operating agreements.
